History of City Revival Church
In January 2003, God put a seed in the heart of Ps. Suresh to plant a church in Subang Jaya. In months that ensured, this leading was accompanied with many confirmations all pointing to the fact that God has a special mandate for City Revival Church. On the 20th of January 2003, a group of 8 people met at No. 52, Jalan SS15/6A, Subang Jaya, the home of Ps. Suresh and Sis. Shanthini, for a cell group meeting, little realizing that it was a seed sown into God's purpose to bring forth City Revival Church. A month later, another cell group was started in SS3. City Revival Church was born on the 4th of May 2003, with our first Sunday Service at Holiday Villa Subang.
Birthed and sustained in prayer, God has caused City Revival church to grow. By the grace and goodness of god, we have now grown to a congregation of 350 adults. We have a dynamic and powerful Sunday Service with great worship and strong preaching. Being a Cell Group church, we have many cell groups with the purpose of edifying and evangelizing. We also have many ministries to cater to the needs of the people.
City Revival Church is indeed part of God's plan for the Klang Valley. It is an Assemblies of God church with a burden to impart love and impact lives. Located centrally in the Klang Valley, Subang Jaya is within easy access to other key areas - Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Puchong, Shah Alam and Klang. With its strategic location, the opportunities are tremendous for the love of Jesus to be shared. God has given a mandate to the church to impact the community and city for Jesus Christ.
We are expecting greater things from God as God has spoken so many powerful things over us; our mandate is to fulfill what God has spoken. Our heart's desire is to impart love and impact lives.
